OICAN

This was the project I did as an intern at OICAN Wear. As the company’s only 3D Animator, I had full control of the creative process, with additional input from the company’s two CEOs, from defining a creative brief to creating the final 3D animation.
The animation shows the technical features of OICAN’s protective hats while serving as marketing material for their brand.

Process

To capture OICAN’s essence, colours and message, I created a storyboard and moodboard based on creative brief questions answered by the company. This was followed by gathering or creating and preparing the assets, as well as scene set-up with lights and animated camera movements.

To create and animate the humans, I used MakeHuman and Mixamo. The 3D model of the hat and protection by Kim Olsson.
