This was a personal project to remake the perfume bottle Bleu de Chanel. Below, I show my process through iterations of the model, texture, composition and light in a breakdown video.
To model the bottle, I used straightforward polygon modelling with bevel and solidify. To get a thick glass material that would interact realistically with the lighting, I mixed two glass materials with a gradient mode.
I experimented with liquid simulations and dynamic paint to create a flowing perfume liquid. Animations are coming soon!
